#Christmas: AirAsia To Donate A Meal To The Homeless For Each Pre-Booked Hot Meal

This festive and holiday season is a time to remember those less fortunate and one simple way to spread the love is through giving.

AirAsia continues to give back to the community it serves through a week-long meal donation campaign, in partnership with Reach Out Malaysia, a community action group, which consists of volunteers working with the homeless, the rural and the urban poor in Malaysia.

AirAsia Reach Out Malaysia

This campaign will take place from 21st – 25th December and is applicable for all hot meals booked during the period, throughout any flights operated by AirAsia Berhad (flight code AK).

Hot meals can be pre-booked through the “Manage My Booking” feature on airasia.com at any time after flight booking or up to 24 hours before scheduled departure.

Every hot meal pre-booked during this week will mean a hot meal for the homeless.

Guests travelling on AirAsia Berhad flights (flight code AK) can pre-book their hot meals from a wide selection available in the new in-flight gourmet menu concept, “Santan”.

This includes the ever-popular Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak and newly-introduced Asean-inspired meals such as Nasi Dagang and Chicken Curry, a Malaysian favourite; Javanese Ayam Penyet with White Rice from Indonesia; and Thai Basil Chicken with White Rice from Thailand.

AirAsia In-flight Menu - Shepherd's Pie

They can also select the Shepherd’s Pie, which is a limited edition item on AirAsia’s in-flight menu, available from now until end of January 2016. The Shepherd’s Pie is lusciously moist, baked with a layer of creamy mashed potatoes, shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese; definitely a great addition to the holiday season travel.

Guests can also add a sweet treat to their hot meals by selecting the “Maximise Your Meal” option which features AirAsia’s buttery Vanilla Cupcakes, a new addition to the in-flight pre-book menu.
