Christina Perri definitely did not have to wait for “a thousand years” for someone to put a ring on it.
Earlier today (Thursday, 22nd June), the 30-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a delightful piece of personal news – she’s engaged! The lucky guy in question? It’s none other than boyfriend Paul Costabile.
“Paul asked me to marry him tonight and I said yes!” Perri captioned the lovely picture of her V‑shaped diamond engagement ring. Her beau also took to the social media site to post a black-and-white snapshot of the couple together.
He wrote: “I knew I wanted to ask this girl to marry me the day she walked into the green screen for an interview almost 4 years ago. I finally asked her right here tonight and she said yes!!!” In case you’re wondering, Costabile is a host for The Hollywood Reporter.
The lovebirds have been super private about their personal life, so it’s nice that they’re comfortable sharing this special moment with the public.
