Recently, a celebrity gossip blogger revealed that 17-year-old Lucas is apparently in a relationship with a 46-year-old woman. The blogger shared that the two were recently spotted in public, buying daily necessities together. Some insiders also claimed that Lucas is living with her, implying that the relationship is serious. Cecilia reportedly couldn’t accept Lucas’ romance with a woman 29 years older than him and was hospitalised from the shock of the news.
However, these claims are only rumours, and Cecilia has yet to comment on the issue. Despite that, netizens couldn’t help but react to the matter, with most poking fun at Lucas for “following in his family’s footsteps”. Netizens said this is because Lucas getting into a relationship with a significant age gap is similar to his father, Nicholas and grandfather, Patrick Tse (謝家鈺).
If you’re unaware, 44-year-old Nicholas is dating 55-year-old singer Faye Wong (王菲). They previously dated from 2000 to 2003 but got back together in 2014 after divorcing their respective partners. Meanwhile, Lucas’ grandfather Patrick was notable for his 12-year relationship with Coco, a Shanghainese woman 19 years his junior. Many netizens said Lucas’ relationship may have resulted from his family’s influence.
