Casio Computer Co., Ltd., has announced the release of the AQ-230ECK, a new collaboration watch featuring a distinctive matcha green dial, developed with the contemporary and sophisticated coffee shop Café Kitsuné.
Founded in 2013, Café Kitsuné now has more than 32 locations worldwide, including Tokyo and Paris. The brand is known for its unique Art de Vivre (French for “Art of Living”), blending French and Japanese sensibilities. It was also among the first to introduce matcha to Paris in 2014, part of its efforts to share the appeal of Japanese tea culture with a wider audience. Café Kitsuné is recognized for its expertise in specialty coffee, with careful attention to every step from sourcing and roasting to brewing.

The new AQ-230ECK is based on the AQ-230, a popular analog-digital combination watch in a classic square-face design. Inspired by Japan’s iconic tea culture and refined Café Kitsuné aesthetics, the watch features matcha green tones that capture the distinctive character of the collaboration.
The collaboration is reflected in the smallest details, as well. The iconic Café Kitsuné fox symbol appears on both the dial and the case back, while the Café Kitsuné logo is engraved on the case back and clasp. The watch also comes in special packaging with a matcha-inspired color scheme, completing the collaboration’s distinctive design.

Despite its lightweight and comfortable feel on the wrist, the watch is equipped with practical features for everyday use, including water resistance, an alarm, stopwatch, hourly time signal, auto calendar, and EL backlight.
Blending functional design with Japanese-inspired elements, the AQ-230ECK reflects the refined atmosphere where Paris meets Tokyo, resulting in a distinctive timepiece that brings subtle style to everyday life.
The new AQ-230ECK is now available in Malaysia via Casio Malaysia’s official website from 4th September 2026 onwards.
