Gone are the days of collecting coins and looking for a parking machine to pay for your street parking fees.

With DBKL replacing their parking payment machines with cashless apps, we’re here to share the best apps for you:

1. JomParking

DBKL has brought back JomParking as a payment option after not including the app which has more than 330,000 users.

  • Areas covered: Wilayah Persekutuan, Selangor, and Sabah.
  • Pros: Clean interface, responsive, and accurate location.
  • Cons: Users have complained about servers being down.

2. Flexi Parking

Flexi Parking was originally created as an environmental-friendly alternative to parking machines in an effort to reduce the usage of papers.

  • Areas covered: Wilayah Persekutuan, Selangor, Terengganu, and Kelantan.
  • Pros: Informs you to pay parking and summons.
  • Cons: Inaccurate location detection and search function not effective.

3. EZ Smart Park

EZ Smart Park is one of the newest apps on the list as it was just released last month (29th September) on the app store.

  • Areas covered: Wilayah Persekutuan (Only DBKL).
  • Pros: Clear instructions.
  • Cons: Sluggish, confusing interface, and limited to one area.

4. Wilayah Parking

Wilayah Parking is made by the same company that made Flexi Parking, Leading Innovative Technologies and Systems (LiTS).

  • Areas covered: Wilayah Persekutuan, Selangor, Terengganu, and Kelantan.
  • Pros: Easy-to-navigate interface and and good graphics.
  • Cons: “Flexi Parking” application under a different name

5. MCash

Currently, MCash is the only e-wallet app that allows you to pay for parking areas under DBKL’s jurisdiction.

  • Areas covered: Wilayah Persekutuan, Terengganu, and Kelantan (Kota Bharu & Machang).
  • Pros: Parking payment is convenient and easy-to-use.
  • Cons: It can be inconvenient if your main e-wallet isn’t MCash.

6. Touch ‘n Go eWallet

Touch ‘n Go was one of the first to incorporate parking payment for DBKL but its service is unavailable for now following DBKL’s decision to fully use cashless apps.

  • Areas covered: Wilayah Persekutuan (In progress), Selangor, Terengganu, and Kelantan.
  • Pros: User-friendly interface and easy-to-use.
  • Cons: Parking payment system in DBKL area is under maintenance.

You can say “good-bye!” to coins and coupons. With these apps, your trips will definitely be much easier and hassle-free.
