(Video) “Who Approved This?”: Netizens React To Sexy Women Dancing In Bukit Bintang

A lot of things have happened in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur this year— a local TikToker giving away free money to strangers on the streets, travellers getting scammed by a barbershop in the area, and a well-known Arabian dessert shop closing down after it was discovered that they were operating without a proper license.

It looks like Bukit Bintang is trending once again after a video of a sexy dance performance (that took place in the area) went viral on TikTok, much to many Malaysians’ shock.

A TikTok video, originally posted by user @ahsanrobi7 on his channel earlier this month, has been getting a lot of attention from netizens recently. As seen in the video above, a group of female performers in very revealing costumes were dancing in front of what appears to be the Buy & Save shop at Bukit Bintang.

The performance, known as the ‘ki dance re vhai’, was said to be part of an event held at the venue that day. The video has since been reposted everywhere on social media and as one would expect, netizens flooded the comments section with many asking how a “provocative” performance in a public space was even approved in the first place.

Some even tagged the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to investigate the matter. There were also those who defended the performers saying that there was nothing wrong with the performance, nor was it too provocative. At the time of writing, neither local authorities nor the Buy & Save store in Bukit Bintang have released an official statement regarding the controversial performance at the venue.
