Another new cafe has arrived in town and it’s none other than Australian’s neighbourhood cafe “Breakfast Thieves”.

The cafe had their soft launch on Tuesday (26th July) and opens from 9am to 5pm daily. Located at Bangsar, the cafe’s main Australian branch is often listed as the top 5 cafes in Melbourne.

As 3 of the co-founders – Brandon Chin, Kevin Foo, and Edwin Koh – are Malaysians, it is no wonder that they chose to bring their idea home with them. In true “Breakfast Thieves” fashion, the place is located amidst a 63-year-old commercial printing factory.

Its menu include the crowd favourite “‘Kampung Eggs’ Your Way On Buttered Toast”, the vegetarian “The Breakfast Chain”, the aptly named “Not Your Usual Popiah”, and more. For a full list of their menu, click here. However, as they are still in their soft launch period, they will only be offering their breakfast menu.

Also, the cafe closes their kitchen at 4pm daily, so if you plan on visiting the place, remember to arrive before that!

Here’s some photos of the place and the food:

Now tell us, isn’t it Insta-worthy? 😉

The original “Breakfast Thieves” was founded in 2012, and was located in an old chocolate factory in Fitzroy Melbourne, Australia. They offer brunch and is popular with crowds for its modern Australia cuisine completed with an Asian twist.

The Malaysian branch of “Breakfast Thieves” has its home in Lot M, 29-5, Jalan Riong, Bangsar, 59100, KL, and is contactable via 03-27883548.
