Jennifer Aniston had quite a fabulous weekend when she celebrated her birthday (she turns 50 today, 11th February).
Her star-studded birthday party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles. Basically everyone in Aniston’s inner circle attended the event – and yes, that included ex-husband Brad Pitt. That’s right peeps, the former flames are still friends (pun intended).
According to onlookers, Aniston had strategically place people at the entrance of the venue to shine flashlights at photographers. This was to prevent them from getting proper shots. E! News reported that Pitt showed up wearing a newsboy cap with his longtime security guard by his side.
“Basically, every single person who Jen loves attended. That included Brad,” a source said. “The party was a celebration of Jen’s life. Brad, for long, was a very important part of Jen’s life. She debated back and forth with friends if she should invite him. She was very happy that he showed up. Many of his close friends were at the party too.”
Having said that, Pitt’s presence wasn’t that big of a deal. “Jen didn’t really pay any special attention to Brad,” the source added. “They hugged and chatted for a bit, but Jen was busy making sure all of her other guests had an amazing time.”
Basically half of freaking Hollywood attended Aniston’s 50th birthday bash. The list of stars in attendance include: “Barbra Streisand, Charlie Day, Chelsea Handler, Cindy Crawford, David Arquette, David Foster, David Spade, Demi Moore, Derek Blasberg, Diane Keaton, Ellen DeGeneres, George Clooney (with wife Amal), Gwyneth Paltrow, Heather Parry, James Brolin, Jason Bateman (with wife Amanda Anka), Jennifer Meyer, John Mayer, Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson (with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa), Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Keith Richards, Laura Dern, Lisa Kudrow, Rande Gerber, Reese Witherspoon (with husband Jim Toth), Robert Downey Jr. (with wife Susan), Sandra Bullock (with Bryan Randall), Tom Ford.”
This is the first time we’ve spotted exes Aniston and Pitt together since their now-infamous split over a decade ago. They were married from 2000 to 2005. After their marriage ended, both of them went on to remarry – Aniston with Justin Theroux and Pitt with Angelina Jolie. Sadly, both of those relationships have since ended.
Who knows what the future holds for Aniston and Pitt? But we’re glad they’re on good terms 😉
