BoonY & Co Launches Tribiotics: 4 Ways It Can Improve Your Health

Many Malaysian adults experience poor digestive health, with symptoms such as acid reflux, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, and skin issues. Data from the Ministry of Health indicates that diseases of the digestive system ranked as the third and ninth most common causes of hospitalisation in private and public hospitals, respectively, in 2022.

In response, BoonY & Co and CARiNG Pharmacy have announced the launch of Tribiotics, an innovative Malaysian-made supplement aimed at enhancing gut health and overall well-being. Now available exclusively at CARiNG Pharmacy, Tribiotics combines the benefits of prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics, enriched with Riceberry & Organic Sea Buckthorn Powder, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin E.

At the launch, leading Malaysian microbiome expert Associate Prof. Dr. Chong Chun Wie from the School of Pharmacy at Monash University, along with Dr. Lee Yeong Yeh, Professor of Medicine and Consultant in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine at Universiti Sains Malaysia, explained the importance of the three main “biotics” — prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics — for maintaining gut health.

Scientifically Proven Benefits of Tribiotics

With many people experiencing gut-related health problems such as acid reflux, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation and skin issues, Tribiotics helps people to balance their gut health. The supplement is designed to:

• Improve gut health by maintaining a balanced gut microbiome.
• Boost immune function, protecting the body against infections and diseases.
• Provide antioxidant properties that prevent or slow cell damage caused by free radicals.
• Alleviate skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis through anti-inflammatory properties.

What makes Tribiotics unique is its postbiotic strain, derived from locally fermented Malaysian foods like tapai ubi and tempeh. This local ingredient not only supports gut health but also highlights the importance of natural, homegrown resources in health supplements. Tribiotics is free from preservatives, sugar, artificial flavours and colours.

According to Fam Swee Ying, Managing Director, BoonY & Co, “We are thrilled to partner with CARiNG Pharmacy to introduce Tribiotics, a Malaysian-made supplement that combines the benefits of prebiotics, probiotics, and our proprietary Postbionix®️ postbiotic blend. Tribiotics represents BoonY & Co’s commitment to creating science-backed, plant-based solutions for gut health. Our goal is to provide consumers with effective, natural products that not only enhance well-being but also have a positive impact on our community. We believe Tribiotics will help those seeking a holistic approach to health.”

BoonY & Co Tribiotics is now exclusively available at selected CARiNG Pharmacy outlets for RM99 per box (containing 20 sachets). It will soon be rolled out nationwide across all CARiNG Pharmacy locations.
