Awwyiss! SM Entertainment’s BoA (보아) will be dropping a new solo track very soon.

According to All Kpop, insiders revealed that the veteran K-Pop singer’s track is set to release through SM Station 2 within this month (April). They also added that she has been working on the song for a long time and is at the final stages of production.

This is not the first time she sang for SM Station. Last year, she collaborated with rapper Beenzino for “No Matter What”. This would also mark BoA’s first solo Korean single in almost 2 years.

Dubbed the “Queen of Korean Pop”, the 30-year-old singer released her first album, titled “Peace B” (2000), at the tender age of 13. A year later, she quit school to focus on her Japanese singing career. Her first Japanese album, titled “Listen To My Heart”, debuted atop the Oricon Chart, making her the first Korean artiste to do so. Beside that, she debuted in the US with “Eat You Up” in 2009.

Aside from singing, BoA was previously known as one of the judges on Mnet’s “K-Pop Star” and is currently the host of “Produce 101” season 2. She also starred in JTBC’s “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week” alongside “Running Man” star Song Ji Hyo, veteran actor Lee Sun Kyun, and Kim Hee Won.

SM Station 2 is the 2nd season of SM Entertainment’s extremely successful digital music project. It aims to showcase the musical capabilities of a different artiste every week, with international and Korean artistes collaborating with each other.
