Books, books and more books is what you will find at Malaysia’s biggest book sale at Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), Seri Kembangan. In case you been living under a rock, the Big Bad Wolf book sale is back on!
Now in its 10-year, the books sale is officially open to the public today (Friday, 6th December 2019) and will be on for 11 days until 16th December 2019. Promised to be a new chapter for the company, here are 6 highlights we found during our visits at the sale.
1. Buy 10 free 1 promo
One of the most eye-catching offer we saw at the sale is of course the buy 10 free 1 deal. Now usually that wouldn’t be anything impressive, but considering that this is the Big Bad Wolf book sale we’re talking about – it’s huge. This means that people are already buying books in a bundle, adding to the fact that the books are already 75% to 95% off.
2. Wolf Pack app
Introducing the newly launch wolf pack app: with this, customers can save themselves the hassle by selecting the books they want online. They can then collect it at a later time during a sale. Additionally, the app will also feature a referral program which gives users a chance to collect exclusive merchandise from 5th to 16th December 2019. 3. Loyalty reward
The Big Bad Wolf book sale is now a decade old, and they wouldn’t have succeeded without the help of their loyal customers. So to give back to fans, the Wolf has decided to hand out his limited-edition gifts at this year’s sale. How you asked? Just bring your price memorabilia from previous sales to the workers at the customer service counter to claim it.

4. Magical Books
Prepare for a digital age, as the Big Bad Wolf is also bringing along a unique range of children books that will incorporate augmented reality technology. This technology will give children a whole new experience to popular titles such as “Frozen: A Sleepover”, “Little Red Riding Hood” and many more.
In total, there are 17 of these titles available with Wolf Pack members being able to enjoy a buy 5 free 1 promotion on selected titles. Additionally, non-members can also enjoy a buy 7 free 1 deal on selected titles.
5. Lifetime of books contest
2 books a month for 25 years – if that don’t get you excited than nothing will.
The contest, which runs from 5th December to 15th December, will select 10 lucky winners to be in the running to win the grand prize of a lifetime worth of books. All you have to do is be a Wolf Pack member and snap a photo of yourself, or the books, at the hall. Then upload that photo with #ILOVEBBWKL2019 to your Facebook or Instagram account. 6. Largest variety of book titles
Lastly, in conjunction with their 10th anniversary, this year’s sale will boast the largest variety of titles Big Bad Wolf has ever seen. Totalling up to 50 thousand titles in genre such as romance, science fiction, children books and many others. The large variety of titles will also include a lot of books from out local publishers such as Kualiti Books, Sasbadi, Karangkraf PTS, The Patriots and Buku Fixi to name a few.
