Just before 2020, Godfrey Gao’s girlfriend Bella Su broke her silence on her Instagram account for the first time.
The 23-year-old influencer said that the late Taiwan-born Canadian model-actor was “heaven’s most wonderful gift to me“. Although he’s no longer physically here, they would “never be apart”.
Bella uploaded 3 photos (2 of which were of them). One snapshot was taken at a beach, against the beautiful sunset with Godfrey’s face resting on his beau’s head. Another showed the duo in winter clothing, striking a pose while skiing.
As you may know, the Asian hunk collapse last November when he was filming a Chinese sports variety series titled “Chase Me”. Hours later, Godfrey passed away. He was only 35 years young. Following massive backlash, the network made the call to cancel “Chase Me”. His funeral was held 2 weeks ago in Taipei, which you can watch it here.
Here is Bella’s tribute to Godfrey on 31st December (Tuesday): “You are heaven’s most wonderful gift to me, thank you for everything you taught me. I’ve experienced fullness in my life and from now I’ll carry your light and your eternal love and we shall never part.”
“Your love made my life whole. Through our love we will never be apart,” she continued in English before expressing her gratitude to those who have shown nothing but love and support during this difficult period. “I will be strong for us and I hope I can be given time and space for my life to be on track once more,” she added.
Godfrey had reportedly intended to propose to Bella at a dinner in front of both of their parents. Sadly, he passed away the day before on 27th November. Bella’s Instagram was private for awhile shortly after his death but is now public again.
In her Instagram account bio, she wrote, “Whatever we are, you and I will always collide.”
