Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur has turned an entire floor into Barbie themed rooms, from “Barbie Rooms” to “Barbie Suites”. The 14 rooms in the entire floor are covered in hot pink and colour palette that screams “Barbie!”, plus even the amenities and decorations will make you feel like you’ve stepped right into Barbie’s World!
There are three different concepts that go with this whole Barbie theme, namely:
- “Barbie You Can Be Anything”
- “Barbie Fantasy”
- “Barbie EXTRA”
If you want to feel even more bourgeoise, opt for the “Barbie Suite” that overlooks the city with a king-sized bed all for you! What’s even more exciting is, the suite has a round-shaped marble bath tub instead of a normal one. How much would Barbie love that? Other than the fact that she will be absolutely touched that her career is being celebrated like this!
If you think that is already exciting enough, wait ’til we tell you about the Barbie Café! Yes, you heard that right, a Barbie Café to give you the whole experience of everything Barbie! The café will be in a glasshouse restaurant that serves breakfast, afternoon tea, and even evening cocktail to make you feel like you’re the icon herself, Barbie, in Malibu! Although, due to the pandemic circumstances, you have to pre-book your Barbie Café experience and there are some rules and regulations that complies to the standard operating procedures (SOP).
If you want to indulge yourself in both of the fun Barbie experience, Grand Hyatt is also offering you packages that includes both the “Barbie Pink Afternoon Tea” along with the staycation. They have two packages, which are the “Made in Malibu” and “Suite Dreams”. While for the “Barbie Pink Afternoon Tea Party”, there are two sessions that you can book your slot — the 1st session: 12pm to 2:30pm, and the 2nd session: 3:30pm to 6pm.
