Make way, make way, there’s a baby onboard!
Ever since they tied the knot last year, Angelababy (楊穎) and Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明) have been bogged down by pregnancy rumours. It appears though, that the couple is finally ready to reveal that they are indeed expecting their first bundle of joy.
The famous celebrity couple have always shied away from questions concerning their personal life. But during the weekend, in conjunction with their 1 year wedding anniversary, the Chinese actor took to Weibo to confirm the ongoing rumours.
“Holiday for three. In the future, we’ll have plenty of [trips] to go on,” Xiaoming wrote, adding a shout out to his Hong Kong model-actress wife. The post was accompanied with a photo of the couple sitting on a yacht while admiring the picturesque view during their vacation in Japan recently.
A series of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities followed, including Chinese actor-singer Tong Dawei, Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin, and Chinese American singer Wang Leehom, who welcomed his 2nd daughter last Friday.
The romantic snapshot was also retweeted by Angelababy (real name Angela Yang Ying) herself, who cheekily wrote to her handsome hubby, “Congratulations to you!” Aw… Aren’t they just super sweet?
The good-looking couple have had a successful year professionally. Angelababy was seen in the Hollywood blockbuster film “Independence Day: Resurgence” earlier this year, while Xiaoming’s period film, “Xuan Zang”, was recently chosen as a contender to represent China for Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards in 2017.
Word on the street has it that the actress is currently 4 months pregnant, and is expected to give birth around February or March next year. Congrats guys!
