If you’ve been keeping up with Baby Shima’s life, then you’re no stranger to the numerous controversies she has been involved in. The dangdut singer often draws flak for her sexy appearance and suggestive posts on social media.
During her interview with local publication Harian Metro, Shima revealed that she has received death threats from an unknown individual in the past. It’s safe to assume that this particular person has been openly against her sexy lifestyle.
“I’m used to getting scolded and chided by so many people for no clear reason. I’m aware of the fact that not everyone is going to like me. So, I’m prepared for such backlash,” the “Pura-Pura Bujang” songstress told the press. Despite that, Shima said that she chose not to dwell on the matter.
“Although I have received death threats, I don’t take them too seriously. Otherwise, how can I earn money if I’m too scared, right? Therefore, I’ve already taken the approach to be more careful whenever I travel to any place. Thankfully, these have just been empty threats,” the former “Big Stage” contestant was quoted as saying.
As she said, haters are gonna hate.
