After last year’s Good Vibes Festival was abruptly cancelled, singer The Kid LAROI won local’s hearts by having an intimate performance in his hotel lobby for concert goers who already bought their tickets. Earlier this summer, the singer announced Kuala Lumpur as one of the destinations for his upcoming tour, “The First Time”, giving fans another reason to catch him live.

Naturally, netizens were thrilled to have the beloved artist back in Malaysia. Unfortunately, the excitement was short-lived because the singer recently declared the cancellation of his tour across Asia. The Kid LAROI’s management team and concert organiser Neptune Presents shared the news via an email blast to all ticket holders.

The announcement of the concert cancellation was made earlier this month, with no clear reason why. An official public announcement has yet to be given out on social platforms. This decision sparked anger as it may cause attendees to be left in the dark if they don’t check their emails regularly. Nevertheless, the Australian star mentioned in the announcement, “I promise I’ll be back on the road soon. I can’t wait to perform and celebrate with all of you next time!“, hinting that he may be rescheduling the tour to a later date.

Fans of the Aussie star who read the message expressed how the team’s handling of this situation has left a distasteful impression on the artist. Some are also worried that there might be something wrong with the artist, but overall fans are displeased with the sudden decision, especially considering that the concert is less than a month away.

We’re sad to hear that he won’t be performing in our city this November, but let’s hope The Kid LAROI will reschedule soon. What do you think about this? Were you planning on attending his concert?
