One of the downsides of using Astro GO is the necessity of internet connection.
We’re happy to tell you that it’s all going to change now with the application’s new download feature.
The new download feature allows Astro customers to be able to download their favourite shows on the Astro GO app and watch it offline anywhere. The download function is currently available for iOS, Android, and Huawei devices.
The new feature will be included in the software update which will be rolled out in batches to users. It works the same way like other streaming apps, where you have to just search for the content and click “download”. It will then allow you to access the show offline, anywhere you are.
Included with the function, users can adjust the download quality (High, Standard, and Lower) and there will be no limit to the number of downloaded content in the app. Users can find all the downloaded content under the “My Library” tab.
Astro GO users can watch the downloaded content for unlimited time but downloaded movies will only be retained in the device for 2 days, while each TV series episode will be retained for 7 days. Expired content will be automatically deleted from the app, freeing up space in your device.
The latest version for the Astro GO app is currently available on Google Play, Apple iOS App Store, and Huawei App Gallery.
