SamaSeni is more than just an art exhibition. It is a heartfelt gathering of artists who share the same passion for creating. This showcase brings together 12 local talents whose works reflect personal stories, memories, and emotions, all blending into one shared rhythm of creativity.

Led by renowned Malaysian artist and President of the Malaysian Watercolour Society, Calvin Chua, SamaSeni highlights over 40 paintings that capture the beauty of collaboration and artistic growth.

“I don’t see this as a teacher and students show,” said Chua, 61. “From the start, we’ve all been learning from one another. SamaSeni is about the fruits of that shared journey, growing and creating together.”

Each artist in SamaSeni has a story to tell. From experienced professionals to new painters discovering their creative voice, the exhibition features a rich mix of perspectives. Among the participating artists are Alice Yee Yuen Chin, founder of Alice Yee Art Studio known for her impressionist florals; Adelynn Chan, an award-winning watercolour artist inspired by colour and emotion; and Nancy Lau, an educator and artist with over 35 years of experience. Together with the rest of the group, they showcase a collective spirit that celebrates creativity without boundaries.

Featuring artworks in watercolour, oil, acrylic, and mixed media, the exhibition reflects the artists’ curiosity, growth, and shared love for beauty in everyday life. It is a celebration of connection—between people, nature, and the creative process itself.
