BTS (방탄소년단) member Jungkook (정국) is no stranger to stalker incidents, having faced many such issues in 2025. Unfortunately, the new year started on the same note for the idol as police arrested another woman for stalking him.
On 4th January 2026 (Sunday), news reports emerged that the Seoul Yongsan Police Station apprehended a Brazilian woman in her 30s for violating the Act on the Punishment of Crime of Stalking. The woman, referred to as Ms A, is accused of approaching Jungkook’s home in Yongsan-gu and causing a disturbance by throwing mail at the property.

According to reports, this isn’t Ms A’s first offence. She was previously arrested twice in December 2025 for visiting Jungkook’s home and causing disturbances in front of the property. Jungkook’s team have even requested an official restraining order against Ms A following the previous incidents. The police are currently investigating these incidents.
The BTS member has previously spoken up about the many home intrusion incidents he faced in 2025. In June, just a day after his discharge from the military, authorities arrested a Chinese woman in her 30s for trying to break into his home. On 31st August 2025, police booked another Korean woman for attempting to enter the property.

Fans continue to express anger towards the stalkers for invading the singer’s privacy. Many also urged HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC to take a more serious course of action against the perpetrators, citing concerns for Jungkook’s safety. The home invasion incidents also sparked debate about parasocialism amongst K-pop fans.
Meanwhile, BTS is gearing up for their long-awaited comeback. BIGHIT MUSIC recently confirmed the release date for the full-length album (20th March 2026) and the announcement date for their accompanying world tour (14th January 2026).
