Many of us consider it an honour to even be in the presence of royalty, let alone meet one face-to-face. Actress Anna Jobling recently had the opportunity to meet up with Brunei’s Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah during her trip to the country – and she’s still in shock over how it all happened.
The 24-year-old was recently in Brunei for work. During her trip, she had the opportunity to meet with the princess at The Empire Brunei Hotel. She shared photos she took during the meeting on her Instagram, captioning the post with, “Enjoyed my second day in Brunei with the prettiest & sweetest girl, Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah”. In the post, Anna also shared photos she took in front of the Brunei Royal Palace.
During an interview with local news outlet mStar, Anna revealed that Her Royal Highness invited her to a meeting as the princess is a fan of her work. After learning that the actress will be in the country, Princess Ameerah arranged with Anna’s manager to meet the Malaysian star in person. Anna said the princess was so excited to meet her that she hugged Anna upon seeing her at the hotel.
Anna also revealed that Princess Ameerah watched her dramas and enjoyed her acting. The actress said they spent over two hours chatting about various topics, including career and cats. The “Melur Untuk Firdaus” star also praised the princess, saying she was very humble and sweet.
Many fans have reacted to the meeting between the two beauties, saying Anna was lucky to meet Princess Ameerah and take a selfie with her. Others also praised their visuals, saying that the two looked like siblings. Anna also acknowledged the comments from netizens that she and the princess look alike, adding that it’s a huge praise for her.
It seems like both Anna and Princess Ameerah were equally lucky to be able to meet each other. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of Anna with the Brunei royalty.
