Young kids are going to be spoilt for choices this holiday season as another attraction has just opened its doors to the public in Malaysia. We’re referring to the world’s first Angry Birds Splash Waterworld!

The water park was launched last Friday (22nd November) at Setia Ecohill and will remain in Semenyih for the next 2 months before continuing its tour across Asia.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of “Angry Birds”, Finland’s Rovio Entertainment Corp and Malaysia’s One Universal Production Sdn Bhd (OUP) joined forces to bring the world’s largest mobile-themed water inflatable park to fruition. What started out as a popular video game has since evolved into numerous entertainment and consumer products globally.

Fan favourite characters such as Red, Chuck, Bomb, Terrence, Mighty Eagle and the Hatchlings can be found in Angry Birds Splash Waterworld. The Bomb Smackdown is said to be one of the highlights. At 12 metres in height, it’s the tallest water slide at this fun attraction.

In addition, there are 3 pools in varying sizes (Hatchlings play pool, Kids pool, the Hero pool) as well as several rides and water slides to enjoy a splashing good time. For those who prefer to stay dry, there’s also the Go Kart Drift Challenge circuit to check out.

Of course, the experience wouldn’t be complete without some memorabilia right? You can purchase some merchandise at the Angry Birds Pop-Up store. That’s not all, other activities including meet and greet with the franchise characters will also take place at Angry Birds Splash Waterworld. While you’re there, join in on the fun at their non-scripted dance activities.
