It’s wise for celebrities to be careful with what they post on social media, especially if they want to keep their private life, well, private. Not everything is meant to be shared with the world but sometimes some couldn’t care less what others think and will post whatever they like despite massive backlash.
Neelofa’s younger sister Ameera Khan is known for receiving criticism for the way she’s dressed but this time, the LMK Cosmetics founder is being called out for posting a photo of an attire that she possibly wore in public.
Recently, celebrity entrepreneur Ameera Khan posted a photo on her Instagram that showed her drying off, what appears to be, her red bikini on the railings of her hotel or apartment balcony. It can be assumed that the photo was taken during her recent trip to Paris, France.
The now-deleted IG post sparked outrage among netizens who accused the public figure of being shameless. Many questioned the social media celebrity’s motive for posting the photo as it gave the indication that she wore the bikini at the beach or swimming pool, which would be improper as Muslim women are forbidden to show too much skin in public.
A few suggested that she was giving a hint that she was naked when the photo was taken. Others commented that there was no use for her performing Umrah (Islamic pilgrimage) back in December last year if she carries on behaving this way.
Some advised her to not bring shame to her family and be mindful of what she chooses to share on social media. This is obviously not the first time Neelofa’s sister got criticised for her clothing.
Earlier this year, the influencer was slammed for posing in front of the Eiffel Tower in a low-cut long-sleeve shirt and a short denim skirt with feathered embellishment. She’s probably used to the negative reaction by now.
