Aliff Syukri finally broke his silence on his viral video with Yana Samsudin and Fadzil Zahari! To refresh everyone’s memory, the controversial businessman uploaded a video of him having a row with the celebrity couple. He had accused her of breaking an expensive decorative vase worth RM400k.
Taking to his Instagram last night (Tuesday, 18th April), Aliff revealed that the incident was actually a prank. According to him, he was only doing his job as a guest artiste in pranking the “Adnan Sempit” star. At the same time, the self-proclaimed number one singer also said that he felt saddened by the public’s criticisms against him.
“I was just doing my job as the guest artiste (in the ‘Prank Program Prankap’), but the public’s insults to me have been overwhelming. I’m deeply saddened,” Aliff expressed. “To avoid any confusion, this is not part of a marketing gimmick, nor was there an actual fight taking place. This is all part of the plan to prank @yanasamsudin for a TV show that will be aired on Astro Warna this Hari Raya. I hope this video can help clear the air on the matter.”
In the video uploaded by Aliff, the “Bini-Biniku Gangster” actress had panicked after the expensive vase suddenly fell on the floor. Her actor husband also appeared as one of the pranksters, as he got himself in a “physical fight” with the cosmetics entrepreneur.
For those who are curious, the prank show – aptly titled “Prankap” – will be airing during the first to fourth day of Raya on Astro Warna (channel 107). As the king of gimmicks, you should know better than to believe Aliff.
