We come bearing bad news Alesso fans. The Swedish DJ was orinally scheduled to perform in Kuala Lumpur on 17th January at KL Base. Sadly, that’s not happening.
Concert organiser The Livescape Group announced that Alesso has made the difficult decision to cancel not just his Malaysian pitstop but also the remaining dates of his tour, citing health reasons.
The statement reads:
“This decision follows medical recommendations after an intense touring schedule. Alesso has been advised to take a much-needed break to focus on his health and well-being. In his 14-year career as a world-touring artist, this marks the first time Alesso has had to cancel a tour.
Touring is both exhilarating and demanding, often placing significant strain on performing artists’ physical and mental health. While their dedication to fans fuels unforgettable experiences, maintaining their health is essential for a sustainable career. We fully support Alesso during this time and wish him a speedy recovery.”
