Actress Sophia Albarakbah has been doing pretty well lately. She’s currently starring in the hit show “Lelaki Itu” alongside Dato’ Adi Putra, Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim and Nur Fazura. Apart from her acting projects, she’s also known to be active on social media as she’s been keeping her fans updated on what’s been up to lately.
Over the weekend, the 30-year-old posted a few photos of herself on Instagram to share where she gets her hair treatment but one netizen thought it’d be funny to compare her hairstyle to a transgender woman or pondan‘s. Here’s how the celeb responded:
As seen in the screenshot above, not long after posting photos of her new hairdo, a netizen commented on Sophia’s post saying, “Sorry but that hairstyle makes you look like a pondan”. Usually, many would take offence to such a comment, but instead of being angry and calling out the user for their rude remark, the actress simply replied, “Oh no, my real identity has been exposed!”
Fans were mostly amused by the model’s witty response to the disrespectful individual. Some were wondering how the netizen came to the conclusion that Sophia’s hairstyle could look similar to that of a pondan‘s while others commented that the “Miimaland” star looked beautiful regardless. Of course, a few came to her defence by slamming the netizen for their uncalled-for opinion. As for the rest of the comments on the same post, many, including celebrity friends, were mesmerised by the actress’s beauty.
As seen in the screenshot above, after a quick check, we can confirm that the comment was from a private account with no post so it’s most likely a burner account used for trolling.
