Aaron Kwok (郭富城) recently kicked off his 13-concert series “Iconic World Tour” at the Hong Kong Coliseum. While the elaborate production, signature dance moves and performances were a hit with fans in Hong Kong, the singer’s fashion choices left little to be desired. In fact, Aaron Kwok became a trending topic for the wrong reasons.
It appears that many concert-goers were taken aback by the questionable wigs worn by the 58-year-old throughout the concert. Similar to his previous tours, Aaron would appear in various costume changes that reflected the theme of each segment. Unfortunately, his hair/wig inspirations backfired.
One questioned if Aaron had offended his stylist, or perhaps he was being sabotage by them. “Is that ramen on his head? Or did someone poured a bowl of spaghetti over his head?” a netizen quipped. If the blonde wig wasn’t bad enough, Aaron Kwok also appeared onstage in a black wig that looked like “squid ink had exploded on his head”.
While some suggest that Aaron may be having a bad hair day, others argued that it would’ve been better if he had just shaved his head and came out bald. The hairdos were just not giving and it was a hot mess. “If fashion crime was an offense, Aaron Kwok would be in jail right now!” another commented. Oh snap! Clearly, Aaron’s fans are not going easy on him. It is also understood that Aaron didn’t reveal his real hair until the encore.

What do you think of the outlandish wigs? Artsy or horrible?
