National shuttler Aaron Chia (谢定峰) is winning hearts of local badminton fans. Not only did he impress many with his performance during the 2022 BWF World Championship in Tokyo, Japan, he’s also a very loving family man.
On 16th September, Aaron held his wedding with his beloved wife Mei Qi, much to fans delight. Their plentiful and adorable interactions have endeared them to many. In fact, although Aaron is currently overseas for another tournament, the 25-year-old is still teasing his wife through their socials!
Although the wedding was only a month ago, Aaron still has tournaments to attend. He recently flew to Denmark for the Denmark Open which starts today (18th October). However, he has not forgotten Mei Qi, despite being busy preparing for the game.
Aaron recently uploaded a TikTok video on his Instagram Story, while tagging Mei Qi. The reason for tagging her soon became clear, Aaron was teasing her. The video showed a comedian saying, “If you have a wife, what does she become? She is the law.”
The 25-year-old had apparently found the video funny and wanted to show it to Mei Qi. Well, his wife didn’t disappoint with her response. She reposted the story while including an emoji of a woman shrugging and the words “HAHA“.
Regardless of whether she was being sarcastic or not, fans certainly got a kick out of seeing the couple interact. And, we can’t deny that that is one way to show love to your wife! But it certainly proves that both Aaron and Mei Qi have a good relationship.
For those not in the know, Aaron and Mei Qi officially registered their marriage in March 2020. However, due to circumstances then, the couple had to delay their wedding. Currently, the duo have two beautiful daughters and are living happily together.
