As Hong Kong continues to mourn the victims of the Wang Fuk fire in Tai Po, the entertainment industry has been making changes to schedules and plans to show respect. MIRROR member Keung To (姜濤) is one of those stars, receiving praise for his recent action.
The idol has expressed concern for the victims and his fans affected by the fire, even telling them to contact his clothing brand for assistance. Earlier this week, Keung To released new visuals for his upcoming concert, “LAVA”, at AsiaWorld-Arena. However, fans noticed one specific change made to the updated poster.

Inspired by the concert’s name, the previous poster featured Keung To surrounded by flames. Understandably, the original visuals would be distasteful given the current situation. As such, it’s believed that Keung To and his team released a new poster to show respect to the victims of the incident. The thoughtful gesture earned the idol and his team praise from the public.
Keung To also made donations in his own name to the victims of the fire, making him one of the many stars who have contributed to help rebuild the lives of those affected. Another Hong Kong superstar who contributed to relief efforts is Aaron Kwok (郭富城), who recently donated HK$1 million (approximately RM530,000) through his charity organisation.

Chinese-American actress Liu Yifei (刘亦菲) also made a massive contribution to aid the victims of the fire, donating RMB1.5 million (approximately RM876,000) to the Red Cross Society of China. Over the weekend, singer Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅) also donated all proceeds from the first show of her six-day concert, as well as another HK$2 million (approximately RM1.06 million).
Amid the donations and contributions, some stars also warned the public to be vigilant of the scams that have emerged following the tragedy. We extend our condolences and support to the victims of the Wang Fuk fires. May they find strength in their community during this difficult time.
