Getting boycotted won’t necessarily stop a company from resuming business as usual. Despite a call to boycott entrepreneur Dato Aliff Syukri and his brands after his many, many controversies this year, the “Badang” star is still promoting his products on social media. In case you didn’t know, one of the things he’s known for is selling durian.
Last year, he made quite the buzz when he opened up a stall in Petaling Jaya to sell the durians that he harvested himself on his farm. Being the successful businessman that he is, it’s no surprise that the fruits were sold out almost immediately and it looks like he’s doing it again this year.
Yesterday (Tuesday, 18th June), the millionaire posted several Instagram stories to promote his durian business at his stall at D’herbs Holdings. The rest of his posts showed him attending to waves of customers who were eager to get their hands on the king of fruits. According to his Facebook post, Aliff Syukri is currently selling durian for only RM8 per kilogram! Customers would also get to enjoy Durian Kampung and other premium durians like the Musang King for RM28 per kilogram and Blackthorn for RM30 per kilogram.
“Alhamdulillah, all the durians were sold out in just 20 minutes! Thank you for your support,” he captioned his post. As previously mentioned, you can find the business owner’s stall right outside his office at D’herbs Holdings. The stall is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12pm onwards until the fruits are sold out. However, it was not mentioned how long this promotion will last but we can assume that the stall will remain open for business until they run out of fruits to sell.
If the ongoing boycott is affecting his other brands in any way, at least Aliff Syukri still has his durian business to keep him afloat. Will you be paying a visit to his stall?
