To the frontliners, health care workers, and first responders – the Light It Blue campaign is dedicated to each and everyone of you as a form of gratitude.
From 30th April till 3rd May 2020, government buildings, commercial buildings and some roads in the Federal Territories will be illuminated with blue lights from 10:30pm till 1am next morning.
This is a show of solidarity to frontliners, both in the public and private sectors, for their sacrifices in fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia. Why Light It Blue you asked? The title basically was chosen for its colour association with the medical profession.
“This is one of the government’s initiatives to show appreciate and solidarity with all frontliners, especially those in the Federal Territories,” Federal Territory Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa was quoted as saying.
