What’s up K-pop fans?! Get excited cause the “K-Hip Hop” concert is coming your way later this year.
We’ve got some of the hottest Korean hip-hop acts in the music business that will be performing on our local shores in November. The exciting line-up includes Simon Dominic (정기석), Jay Park (박재범), Dean (권혁) and Rad Museum (Soh Jaehoon). Yep, they’re all on the agenda.
Jay Park may have started out in the boyband 2PM, but has since launched his US solo career with Roc Nation. Expect him to perform songs from his latest EP “Ask Bout Me”, which features 7 tracks.
Simon Dominic recently made headlines when he released the single “Me No Jay Park” after resigning as co-CEO from the label AOMG. Many assumed it was a diss track towards Jay. However, Simon clarified the reason he resigned was because he couldn’t balance the leadership position and music any longer.
Last we heard, Dean has been attempting to break into America. “It is not about following others but it is more like ‘I don’t know who’s that but he is a bit different’. Fortunately, the perception of eastern culture is becoming better, I am thinking of ways/images where oriental vibe can be made used of to communicate.” the 25-year-old R&B singer-songwriter previously told Dazed.
