Nothing screams a good weekend to us more than binge-watching a good K-drama, or five. If you feel the same way, we’re sure you’re looking forward to the K-drama lineup that will keep us entertained throughout the year. But as much as we have all the time in the world (ha ha), we can’t keep waiting for new K-dramas to drop to be able to watch them, right? Thankfully for you, we’ve curated a list of incredible revenge K-dramas for you to binge on this weekend, because nothing tastes sweeter than a good ol’ revenge flick.

From riveting tales about exacting wrath on high school bullies to avenging a dear friend – here are eight revenge K-dramas with which to quench your thirst for vengeance.

1. The Glory

Netflix

If you’re a fan of K-drama, you’ve probably heard of Netflix’s new series, The Glory, starring the ever-enchanting Song Hye Kyo. If this series hasn’t made it into your binge list yet, here’s a synopsis: it follows a young lady seeking vengeance on her high school bullies after they tortured her to the point that she dropped out. She becomes the homeroom teacher of her tormentor’s child after years of waiting for the right moment to wreak her vengeance. Her heinous retribution plot starts now.

2. Blind

tvN

If you long for lengthy episodes with plot-driven and cohesive storylines, look no further than The Blind. The series follows Ryu Sung-Joon, played by Taecyeon, who works as a detective to solve the Joker Murder case alongside his brother, Ryu Sung-Hoon, played by Ha Seok-Jin. Working as a judge makes Ryu Sung-Hoon more analytical than his brother, and viewers get to explore how the two collaborate to uncover the terrible murder. But you might be asking where the “revenge” part comes into play. That’s when the unexpected plot twist occurs, one you won’t want to miss.

3. Weak Hero Class 1

Wavve

Prepare a box of Kleenex, because this tragic show will take you on an emotional roller coaster. Weak Hero Class 1’s fantastic plot, which is based on a famous webtoon of the same name, and Park Ji-hoon’s excellent depiction of Yeon Si-Eun, prompted the show to become a huge success. Despite his small stature, Yeon Si-Eun, who ranks first in his high school, utilises his intelligence, tools, and psychology to combat violence both within and outside his school, alongside his buddies An Soo-Ho and Oh Beom-Seok. When an unforeseen tragedy strikes, Yeon Si-Eun will go to any length to avenge people he loves.

4. The Devil Judge

tvN

What happens when society decides whether a criminal deserves to be punished or not? If you’re interested, The Devil Judge has all the answers. The Devil Judge is a dystopian K-drama that converts the court into a reality TV programme that cruelly punishes wicked criminals with the help of Kang Yo-Han, played by the ever-handsome Ji Sung, as a heartless head trial judge. Alongside two rookie judges, one of of which is Kim Ga-On, played by Jin Young, these judges impose justice on crooked and selfish persons in power – but at what cost? Kang Yo-Han appears to be full of secrets, one of which appears to be revenge.

5. Reborn Rich

JTBC

When you’ve been accused of embezzlement by the family you’ve committed your life to, it’s only natural to want to seek revenge, especially when they try to assassinate you too. Yoon Hyeon-Woo, played by Song Joong-Ki, has been employed by Soonyang Conglomerate for over ten years. However, after being accused, shot, and left for dead in another country, he awakens in the body of the family’s youngest grandson, Jin Do-Jun. At this moment, Yoon Hyeon-Woo intends to inflict revenge on the Soonyang Conglomerate family while simultaneously taking over the organization.

6. My Name

Netflix

After hearing her father’s last breath outside her home after he was fatally stabbed, Yoon Ji-Woo, played by Han So-Hee, desperately wants to take revenge on whoever is responsible for her loss. After meeting Choi Mu-Jin, a powerful crime boss, Yoon Ji-Woo is recruited to be a part of the drug gang to act as a mole when she joins the police department. Will Choi Mu-Jin’s assistance lead to the discovery of the truth about her father’s murder? Or will it make her vengeance more difficult?

7. Taxi Driver

SBS TV

When the justice system fails to protect victims of crime, this group of vigilantes takes matters into their own hands. Taxi Driver follows Kim Do-Ki, played by Lee Je-Hoon, who works for Rainbow Taxi Company as a deluxe taxi driver. However, the Rainbow Taxi Company is not your typical taxi service provider, at it offers a unique “revenge-call” service. If a customer requests vengeance, Kim Do-Ki and his colleagues will carry it out to punish those who deserve it.

8. Revenge Of Others

Studio S

Convinced that her twin brother did not commit suicide, shooting champion Ok Chan-mi, played by Shin Ye-eun, transfers to her brother’s school to chase after the truth. After meeting Ji Soo-heon, a boy who has faced numerous obstacles in his life and likewise seeks justice, they fight on behalf of bullied students to get revenge on their tormentors.
