The humid Malaysian weather has been ongoing for a few weeks now. While cooling off with some of the best Ice Kacang options in town or frozen desserts at a nearby mall sounds like a good idea, many of us dread going out and would rather stay indoors.

However, how much can your air conditioner help cool you down? Rather than making your AC do all the work, why not consider some chilly places you can visit in Malaysia? Here’s a list of 7 beautiful and cooling places in our country that you can visit to beat the heat:

Bukit Tinggi

On first look, you would never imagine such a place to exist in Malaysia. Located in Bentong District, Pahang, Bukit Tinggi is a cooling place to calm your mind and refresh yourself. While you’re there, a must visit within this beautiful spot is Colmar Tropicale, a French-themed village. This French countryside is actually a replica of a collection of buildings from a northeastern village in France that harks back four centuries. Stepping into Bukit Tinggi would be like you’re travelling to another dimension.
