In case you don’t know, a croffle = croissant + waffle!

Valerie Seow/ Eat Drink KL

When two delicious desserts are merged into one, it’s hard to imagine anyone turning down such a delectable gift. Foodies all across the Klang Valley are raving about the croffle, which combines the crunchy, fluffy texture of the waffle with the flaky, buttery texture of the croissant. If you happen to be craving sweet or savoury croffles, we’ve got a list of 6 of the best croffle spots in the Klang Valley!

Poppy Kat Cafe in Cheras is the first croffle destination on our list because they serve both sweet and savoury varieties of croffle. Along with freshly prepared coffee and pastries, you may also visit with the neighbourhood cats, which, let us tell you, are quite adorable! In addition to croffles, you can also have salads, burgers, and other main dishes.

This cafe is cat-friendly. All the cats at the cafe are adopted, because they believe in adopting and helping felines. The best part is, you can even bring your own pet cat, just as long as it’s on a leash (no dogs allowed). Although they don’t have a halal certificate, this cafe is pork-free and Muslim-friendly, as their main source of ingredients are halal-sourced.

Address: 34A Jalan Nadchatiram, Taman Taynton View, 56000 Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

I Love Croffle Cafe

These croffles are hard rather than fluffy, with a relatively prominent crust that gives way to a layered chew for pastry enjoyment. They are made with croissant dough that has been crisped up in waffle makers. Is it salty or sweet?

With offerings like Cream Cheese Strawberry Croffle and Chicken Sausage Croffle covered in cheese and mayo, I Love Croffles successfully combines the two in a way that will appeal to a wide audience. Not someone who likes sweets? There are savoury croffles available, such as the delectable sausage croffle. Consider bringing some back home. They provide six different kinds of croffles in their portable croffle boxes.

Address: No 6, Jalan ss2/55, SS 2, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Today’s By Dalton is unquestionably one of the best places to eat croffles in the Klang Valley. If you wish to take pictures, the minimalist concept cafe makes for a stunning backdrop. Along with mouthwatering croffles and a lovely decor, they also provide a variety of drinks, like hot chocolate, matcha, coffee, and others.

Grab their loyalty card while you’re there to start collecting stamps; if you have them all, you’ll receive free croffles! Choose one of the three outlets that is closest to you!

118 Grinder

118 Grinder is well-known for its pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and of course, croffles! Theirs are unquestionably not to be missed because they are ice cream and sugar icing topped. What else is worthwhile? Anyone will swoon over their fried chicken paired with pancakes. Locals from Wangsa Maju frequently come here for nighttime hangouts!

Address: No 65 (Ground Floor), Jalan Wangsa Delima 5, Wangsa Maju, 53300 Kuala Lumpur

Madam Croffle is different from the other places in this listicle in that you can entirely tailor your croffle option, similar to how you can at llaollao. There are numerous sauces, fruits, and nuts to choose from as toppings. Keep an eye out for their seasonal specials as well; you might score free bingsu (Korean shaved ice cream). Everybody enjoys the free goodies!

Address: B1-057, No.6 MyTown Shopping Centre, Jalan Cochrane, Seksyen 90, 55100 Kuala Lumpur

At Sri Petaling’s newest Happy XiXi, indulge in creamy rice bowls, refreshing tong sui, and beautiful croffles for a taste of bliss. Due to its warm orange interior colours, Happy Xixi has a slight Poppy Kat Cafe vibe. This restaurant, which is situated in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, is well-known for both its delectable croffles and other Western treats that are offered on the menu. Their rice bowls are also noteworthy!

Address: No 155-G, Jalan Radin Bagus, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur
