It’s that time of year again! TC Candler recently announced the entries for their highly anticipated Annual Independent Critics’ List of the 100 Most Beautiful and Most Handsome Faces. The list has been published annually in various formats since the 1990s, and fans eagerly await it each year to see if their favourites make the cut.
In recent years, we have seen many new entries alongside familiar faces on the list. Malaysian actor Meerqeen and actress Anna Jobling have been ranked among the Most Beautiful and Handsome Faces since they were first featured in 2022. It looks like they made it again this year, so let’s find out where they are ranked this time.
Meerqeen is No. 62!
Just like last year, Meerqeen is ranked No. 62 on this year’s TC Candler Annual Independent Critics’ List of the 100 Most Handsome Faces. While the young star remained in the same position, he still managed to surpass many big names, including BTS’s Jin in 64th, Tom Holland in 68th, Seventeen’s Mingyu in 94th, and David Beckham in 98th. This also marks the third time the 23-year-old has been featured on this highly anticipated list.
Anna Jobling is No. 59!
Anna Jobling has levelled up! Last year, the actress took the 66th spot on the 100 Most Beautiful Faces list, and now she has moved up seven places to 59th this year. The “Lembayung” star managed to surpass strong contenders, including actress Zoe Saldana in 65th, K-pop idols Chuu and Ella Gross in 71st and 84th respectively, and singer-actress Ariana Grande in 85th. Just like her fellow Malaysian, this is also her third time to be featured on this list.
For three years in a row, these two former co-stars have remained the only Malaysians to be featured on the TC Candler Annual Independent Critics’ List of the 100 Most Beautiful and Handsome Faces. We wouldn’t be entirely surprised if they make the final cut for a fourth year in 2025, but we’ll have to wait and see if a new Malaysian entry will appear on the list. For now, congratulations to both Meerqeen and Anna Jobling on their third year on the TC Candler list!
