While being an influencer may look lucrative, it’s no secret that it’s a lot of hard work. Especially if you don’t have the numbers yet. Well, this particular internet celebrity got pretty desperate for traffic. Unfortunately, it did not end well for her.
A 21-year-old Indonesian woman apparently decided she needed better content. So, in a bid to achieve her goal, she pretended to commit suicide. Unfortunately, the situation turned fatal when she accidently killed herself.
The incident had reportedly taken place in Bogor, Indonesia. The lady, who lives by herself, had been planning the stunt with a friend via video call. In addition to drafting a suicide note, she was also getting things ready for her suicide ‘stunt’.
She then wanted to demonstrate the stunt to her friend and got on the chair with a noose. However, the lady allegedly slipped from the chair which caused her to hang herself by accident. Her neighbour reportedly heard a crash and was concerned enough to check on her. However, by the time they arrived, it was too late.
Police have determined her death was an accident. An examination showed she had passed away from neck injuries. The 21-year-old’s body has since been passed on to her family.
