In case you didn’t know, some K-pop idol groups have character mascots that represent each member. These adorable characters are sometimes even designed by the idols themselves. Groups such as BTS (방탄소년단), TXT (투모로우바이투게더), TWICE (트와이스), Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈), and SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) all have their own mascots, and fans often purchase them as a way to show their love and support for their favourite artists.
Speaking of SEVENTEEN — although it may be some time before Malaysian fans get to experience their concert on home soil once more, they can still look forward to the group’s upcoming character pop-up store in Kuala Lumpur. Here’s what we know so far:

This is possibly the next best thing to seeing SEVENTEEN live in person! Earlier today (Thursday, 10th July), HYBE announced that SEVENTEEN’s MINITEEN characters will be appearing in shopping centres across Asia. Malaysian fans will be delighted to know that the MINITEEN HOUSE PARTY pop-up store will be making its way to one of the country’s popular malls. Here are the confirmed details so far:
- Date: 20th August 2025 – 7th September 2025
- Time: 10am – 10pm
- Venue: Sunway Pyramid

Further details on what you can expect from the upcoming store will be announced at a later date. How can you resist such adorable characters? Get ready to see official merch of CHOITCHERRY (S.Coups), JJONGTORAM (Jeonghan), SHUASUMI (Joshua), O.C.L (Jun), TAMTAM (Hoshi), FOXDUNGEE (Wonwoo), PPYOPULI (Woozi), DOA (DK), KIMJA (Mingyu), THEpalee (The8), BBOOGYULI (Seungkwan), NONVER (Vernon) and CHANDALEE (Dino) when the Pop-up store day arrives!
Aren’t you excited? Who knows, perhaps the next exciting announcement will be seeing the members live in concert, or perhaps making a special appearance for an event in KL? We’ll soon find out.
