Singer Naim Daniel is currently facing public scrutiny over his sexual assault case. While the star pleaded not guilty to the charges, rapper Caprice hints that he has evidence to prove otherwise.
Earlier today (19th June 2025, Thursday), Caprice posted a screenshot of a news article on his Instagram Stories. The article touched on the support that Naim has been receiving following his sexual assault case. To recap, the singer is facing charges of raping a 17-year-old girl. He pleaded not guilty, and the trial will resume on 18th August. However, fans have been showing support for the star, saying that he was framed.

In his post, Caprice mocked the fans’ argument that Naim was framed, even quipping, “Sure or not?”. The post garnered netizens’ attention, with one comment saying that the public figure may have insider knowledge of the case. As a response, Caprice said, “Have I ever acted without evidence?”, prompting speculations that the star may have proof of Naim’s guilt. However, Caprice never expanded on this comment.
Interestingly, the rapper has been an outspoken critic of Naim since the case first surfaced earlier this month. Even when the identity of the case suspect was unknown, Caprice heavily hinted at the 27-year-old’s involvement through his Instagram account. Earlier this week, Caprice shared a video of Naim’s court appearance with an emoji of a man shrugging, suggesting his doubt over the singer’s not-guilty plea.

Meanwhile, Naim hasn’t returned to social media and only said he’s leaving the case to the justice system. The “Projek: High Council” star is charged under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act. If found guilty, he faces a jail term of up to 20 years and is liable for whipping. Online, the discussion on the case has been mixed, with some hoping he’ll be punished for the crime and others believing in his innocence.
For now, we can only wait for the mention in August to find out Naim’s fate. What are your thoughts on this?
