It’s been six years since Big Hit Music launched their boy band, TXT (투모로우바이투게더). With global powerhouses like BTS (방탄소년단) under the same label, anticipation has been high for Big Hit’s next big act to capture fans’ hearts. Earlier this year, the agency revealed their plans for a new boy group set to debut in the third quarter of 2025.
Buzz began even before any official confirmation from the members, with photos of the trainees in Los Angeles started making the rounds online as early as May. However, on 17th June (Tuesday), HYBE confirmed in an interview with JTBC that the new boy group is set to debut this August, sending waves of excitement through the fandom.

Formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment, HYBE Corporation now acts as the parent company of several major labels, including Big Hit Music, BELIFT LAB, and others. Over the years, HYBE has reshaped the K-pop scene by blending traditional idol management with digital innovation. As a result, its artists have risen to global fame. Beyond music production, HYBE has expanded into talent development, content creation, merchandising, and even education through its academy programs.
More recently, attention has shifted to the company’s upcoming boy group. In May, fans spotted trainees in Los Angeles, fueling speculation about their debut. Since then, rumors about the trainees have spread quickly, and the anticipation for the group’s debut has only grown stronger.

Fans have wasted no time expressing their excitement and curiosity across social media, quickly falling in love with the group’s visual style and presence. Even with minimal official information available, they’ve been eagerly analysing every leaked photo and blurry snapshot, clinging to any detail they can find. If the anticipation is any indication, this boy group is already well on its way to becoming K-pop’s next major phenomenon.
