If you’ve kept up with the gossip about Malaysian influencers Cik Epal and Jofliam, you’ll know how messy it got when their marriage ended. With Jofliam officially remarried, it’s no surprise that Cik Epal has a few words, even though it sparks some criticism.
Over the weekend, Jofliam tied the knot with his former staff, Dewi. The two were previously the subject of widespread backlash after Cik Epal accused them of infidelity, which then caused her and Jofliam to divorce after 10 years together. Unsurprisingly, the Pizza Wagyu owner’s marriage to his alleged mistress sparked conversation and prompted a response from his ex-wife.

In an Instagram post, Cik Epal mocked Jofliam’s new marriage, writing, “Congratulations, Han & Yuki have a new maid.” The influencer continued, “To the pair of homewreckers, I wish you happiness until hell. You both are a match made in hell.”. Her blunt post quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions. While many supported Cik Epal, some voiced disappointment over her “classless” response about her ex-husband’s new marriage.
Local director Michael Ang also spoke about the issue, blasting the mother-of-two on Threads. In his post, he lamented, “Just move on! You had no fate with each other. There’s no need to bark around like dogs. Your kids will be ashamed once they grow up and see how you behaved.” It’s possible that Michael was sharing some advice for Cik Epal, but his word choice didn’t sit well with her.

The media personality replied to Michael’s post, quipping, “At least I talk about my matters. I’m not ‘barking’ around other people’s business.”. She also responded to the criticism she received about her post, saying, “I’ve never asked for validation from others to see me as classy”. She continued, “I enjoy being myself. I prefer you hating me for being who I am than liking me for being fake.”
Following her post, many of Cik Epal’s supporters continue to show her love and wish her the best in her business and family matters. What are your thoughts on this?
