Lately, the actor has been spending time with singer Amira Othman, mainly for work, as the two are brand ambassadors for JAKEL, but what does his family think if they turn out to be more than just colleagues?
The story began with Malaysia’s no. 1 singer. Recently, Fattah Amin and Amira Othman did a joint livestream on TikTok. At one point during the broadcast, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza left a comment, seemingly offering her blessings for the duo’s relationship.
Although she was most likely joking, it did spark discussions among fans, and Amira herself asked the songstress if she could sing at her wedding someday, should she ever get married, to which the icon responded, “God willing, yes.”
After that moment from the livestream went viral, many have asked Fattah Amin about his rumoured relationship with Amira Othman. Speaking to the media, the 34-year-old admitted that his family had shown support, saying, “Alhamdulillah, my family gave their blessings. They love Amira because she attended an event with them before. They’re happy to see me be friends with her.”
However, the actor clarified that he and the singer are just friends. “We’re good friends and colleagues, and I don’t dare to say more than that. We’re happy where we are right now. She’s currently performing Umrah, and I pray nothing but the best for her,” he told reporters.
