We all love the Raya season as it means holidays, Raya money, and celebrations with friends and family. Many people are excited for this upcoming Raya season, especially the employees of the “Sambal King” Khairul Aming.
The Malaysian entrepreneur and social media personality has once again proven himself to be more than just a successful businessman—he is also a generous and thoughtful employer. Ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, the Sambal Nyet owner shut down his factory in Kelantan for a day just to treat his employees to a Raya shopping spree.
The influencer, best known for his popular cooking videos and his highly successful food brand, took to social media to share the heartwarming moment. As shown in the video, Khairul Aming personally accompanied his team to a shopping mall, where each employee was given the opportunity to pick out new clothes for the Raya festivities. The video also showed smiling employees excitedly selecting their outfits, with Khairul Aming warmly engaging with them throughout the outing.
Not only did the 32-year-old entrepreneur treat his employees to new clothes, but he also took them on a grocery shopping spree to help them prepare for Eid al-Fitr with their families. The employees were seen calling their loved ones to ensure they got everything needed for the upcoming celebrations. He even rented a massive lorry to transport all the groceries.
However, the generosity didn’t stop there! Khairul Aming was also seen handing his workers envelopes filled with several RM100 notes as Raya pocket money, a.k.a duit raya. The day of shopping concluded with an iftar gathering at a buffet hotel.
If you’re wondering, this tradition isn’t new for Khairul Aming. Last year, he treated his staff to an all-inclusive trip to Penang, complete with a five-star hotel stay and pocket money for shopping.
