Global superstar Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨) has been very busy this year so far. In addition to the GOT7 comeback concert last month, he has also been promoting his upcoming album “MAGIC MAN 2”, which is set to be released later this year. The singer is currently in Jakarta, Indonesia, appearing on radio shows, podcasts, and livestreams, with fans being treated to plenty of content.

His appearance on The Rockin’ Life Jakarta radio show has gone viral this week. One of the things that stood out the most from the interview was when he “offered” some advice on dating. Here’s what he said:

At one point during the interview, the topic of love was brought up. The host and Jackson Wang discussed his plans to get married and have children by the age of 35. “I love kids, and I want to be able to see them longer. If I had them at 60, I wouldn’t have much time left with them, so I feel like 35 is a good age for me to prep myself,” he said.

The conversation then led to the question of whether the idol had any tips he could offer fans about love. When the singer said he didn’t have an answer, the host mentioned the book “Why Men Love Bitches” and one piece of advice in it: women should never give 100% of themselves before fully committing to a relationship. However, Jackson may have misunderstood her.

Before the host could finish her sentence, “That book is about how women should never give 100%—”, the superstar interjected and asked, “To white men?”. The host then laughed at his comment before the artist explained that he was just repeating and analysing what he thought he heard her say. That moment has since gone viral, with netizens mostly amused by his “advice”.

Jackson Wang Makes Historic Debut On Billboard 200 Albums Chart With "MAGICMAN 2"

Many pointed out that the reason Jackson mentioned white men was most likely because he had misheard the host saying the book title “Why Men Love Bitches” as “White Men Love Bitches.” Others said that, even though the 30-year-old misheard the title, he’s not entirely wrong. Regardless of what the advice might have been, we’re sure fans will definitely listen to their idol.
