After “XO, Kitty” concluded its first season in May 2023, fans have patiently waited for Kitty’s return and her updates at KISS. As all viewers know, the first season’s final episode ended on such a cliffhanger, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats wanting more.

Well, you won’t have to wait much longer. The Netflix trailer for the show’s second season, which will debut on 16th January 2025, was just revealed on social media platforms! From the teaser itself, we can already see so many exciting things to expect in the upcoming season. Here are 4 fun facts for the new season of “XO, Kitty”:

1. Peter Kavinsky will be making an appearance

Noah Centineo, the heartthrob who played Peter Kavinsky in the Netflix original series “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,” startled viewers with his surprising entrance in “XO, Kitty,” Throughout the original series, the boyfriend of Kitty’s sister Lara won over everyone’s affection with his endearing appearance and endearing demeanour. His appearance also left fans feeling happy and nostalgic, as the original TATBILB series was first aired in 2018 – six years ago. As of now, we have no clue why he’s here, but we’ll find out soon!

2. Kitty’s studying era

In season one, Kitty couldn’t focus on her studies due to all the drama she faced. Now, she wants to put her priorities straight to ensure she won’t be in the same situation as last semester, where she was kicked out of KISS! This coming season, she’s back in Seoul and ready to take her academics to the next level and possibly learn more about her late mother during her time at the institute.

3. Love interest diversity

We are about to embark on Kitty’s voyage of self-discovery, which is a lengthy one. She displays interest in women in the teaser, and the last episode of season one shows her in an awkward scenario with Min Ho, where he suddenly confesses his feelings towards her. Throughout the show, viewers will undoubtedly experience a range of ups and downs as Kitty tries to find who she truly is.

4. She’s finally single; possibly ready to stay independent?

As seen in season one, Kitty started her journey at KISS with a boyfriend already studying there. Now, she’s back for semester 2, but finally free of any relationship stress and distractions. Let’s enjoy this moment of her freedom while it lasts, even though we may expect her to discover and grow feelings later in the show!

Hopefully, Kitty won’t become distracted in this new era and will eventually discover everything she’s looking for. We’re super excited to see what “XO, Kitty” season two has in store for us, and maybe it’s time to rewatch the first season to freshen up our memories. Will you be tuning in on 16th January 2025 for the new season?
