Malaysian K-pop fans love it whenever their favourite K-pop idols try local delicacies or even wear traditional costumes during their visits to our country. Each of these superstars has their own unique experience in Malaysia, but we’ve recently noticed that most of them have one thing in common. They’ve all tried one particular snack.
You can’t leave a country without trying some tasty local snacks, especially if the locals grew up with them. So, we’re listing all the times these Korean celebrities have tried and shared their thoughts on our very own Super Ring snacks.
1. N.Flying (엔플라잉)
Let’s start with the most recent one. N.Flying delivered an unforgettable performance during their concert in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month. After the show, the band hosted a livestream on YouTube, much to the delight of their Malaysian fans, where they were seen snacking on packs of Super Rings.

2. GOT7’s Mark Tuan (마크투안)

GOT7 member Mark Tuan was recently in KL promoting his collaboration with Yukazan at The Exchange TRX. Ahead of the event, the idol held a private press conference at M Hotel & Resort, where he shared that one of his snacks in Malaysia is Super Rings. “They’re so good! They’re super cheesy, and I like them better than American Cheese Balls,” he said.
3. BLACKPINK (블랙핑크)
BLACKPINK has performed in Malaysia several times. After their 2019 concert, Jisoo and Jennie visited a 7-Eleven store to buy some snacks, and both were thrilled to finally find Super Rings. According to the “Flower” singer, they had been searching for the snacks ever since trying them in Singapore a few days earlier.

4. STAYC (스테이씨)
Girl group STAYC held a fan meet at Zepp KL in 2023. During an interview with ERA.fm, host Muna Bella introduced the group to several local snacks, including Super Rings. “Banyak sedap!” the girls exclaimed after trying the snack. Skip to 7:35 for the moment they tried it.
