After announcing their stop in Kuala Lumpur a few months ago, N.FLYING (엔플라잉) absolutely won our hearts at their “HIDE-OUT” World Tour concert in Zepp KL on Sunday (1st December 2024). It was their first time performing in Malaysia, and they truly didn’t disappoint! By the end of the night, N.FIAs (N.Flying fandom name) was still screaming for more and more, and boy did they serve!

Although there was a slight delay at the start, fans didn’t feel dishearten at all! Instead, everyone cheered and cheered until four familiar shadows appeared behind the see-through curtain on stage. Unfortunately, Jae-hyun (재현) was unable to join his bandmates, as he had only recently been discharged from the military, so a substitute drummer stepped in. However, that didn’t stop fans from going wild as the group played their opening number, “Flowerwork”.

After a fiery concert opener (literally, there were sparklers everywhere), the band took a moment to interact with the N.FIAs. They began their ment by saying “Apa khabar, sayang?” (How are you, love?), instantly melting everyone’s hearts. Hwe-seung (회승), the group’s main vocalist, even learned a few Malay words like “mantap” and “janji”, just to have a special moment with their Malaysian supporters!

After a short break, the band launched into the second phase of their performance, which was far more intense! It was also during this segment that they played “Rooftop”, an all-time hit by N.FLYING. The energy didn’t let up, as they seamlessly transitioned into “Love You Like That” and “GOOD BAM”. Fans were ecstatic when Cha Hun (차훈), the guitarist, and Dong-Sung (동성), the bassist, performed their impressive instrument solos and frankly, words can’t do justice to how incredible they were.

Of course, all good things must eventually come to an end. The band “concluded” the night with “The Real”. The crowd cheered as they wrapped up the concert, having played more than 20 songs in just three hours. It was bittersweet to say goodbye, but they’ve already promised they’ll be back – and with Jae-hyun!

However, nothing ever satisfies die-hard fans. As soon as the lights went down, the crowd erupted in cheers for an encore, hoping at least one song had been prepared for Malaysian N.FIAs. After a few long minutes of anticipation, with the crowd chanting “Encore, encore!”, they returned to the stage in matching outfits. Donning green, they played the final songs, including “The World Is Mine” and “Stand By Me”, which truly touched everyone’s hearts. They wrapped up the night by taking selfies with the crowd.

We truly had an unforgettable night with N.FLYING, and we hope we can see them again someday! The band performed amazingly, and the fact that they kept interacting with us to keep things interesting was super cool of them! Did you manage to grab tickets for their concert?
