Back in October, INFINITE (인피니트) member Nam Woohyun (남우현) took the stage at his first-ever solo concert in Malaysia. Local fans were excited when the idol shared a vlog detailing his performance and trip to Resorts World Genting. However, it appears there is more to Woohyun’s visit.
The idol is currently participating in the JTBC football variety show, “The Gentlemen’s League (뭉쳐야찬다3)”. JTBC recently shared a video of Woohyun on its YouTube channel, which includes snippets of his visit to Malaysia for his recent concert. The vlog showed him visiting the Genting Highlands Premium Outlet to shop for football gear and playing in a futsal match with some locals.

Upon reaching the outlet mall, Woohyun expressed awe at the view from the hilltop. When shopping, the idol showed off his local football knowledge, noting that most of the fields in Malaysia use grass instead of artificial turf. As such, most football boots sold locally are for grass-turf use. Woohyun continued shopping for football gear, meticulously going through the selection at the store to find the right one for him.
As Woohyun was in Malaysia for his concert, JTBC included a clip from his performance. In the clip, the INFINITE member was surrounded by a crowd of INSPIRITs (INFINITE fans) as they sang the group’s song “Beautiful”. Before returning to South Korea, Woohyun also played a futsal match with some locals. The singer showed off his skills during the match and won against the opposing team.

After the friendly game ended, Woohyun sat down to chat with the Malaysians he played against. One praised the idol’s football skills, saying he was just as good as a professional football player. With the help of a translator, Woohyun continued talking about football with the locals. The Korean star seemed very comfortable with the group of men and could even joke around with them.
We’re glad Woohyun had a great time while in Malaysia and was even able to try something new. Let’s hope we can see more of him with his group members when they visit for their upcoming concert.
