Andika Putera, known for his unique antics and controversies – such as his ambition to buy The Exchange 106 and his declaration of wanting to become Malaysia’s Prime Minister – has become a hot topic again with the establishment of his Old Money Club. Videos of him donning “Old Money” outfits and getting a haircut alongside his club members have captured Malaysians’ attention in the past few weeks.
After sharing videos showcasing Old Money fashion and styling tips through his Old Money Club TikTok account, Andika recently introduced his latest video, in which he announced that the club is now open to the public. Membership, available for a one-time fee, is intended to help participants achieve success by guiding them step-by-step in starting a business easily and effectively.

He stated that lifetime membership costs RM249 and includes access to free product testers, eliminating the need for members to invest in inventory. Additionally, all affiliated products from members are marketed by the club’s headquarters. He further explained that business content and live-stream scripts will be provided, ensuring that members can generate significant profits without requiring any initial capital.
Members will also have the opportunity to attend monthly gatherings, which include networking and business coaching sessions at various locations. Andika highlighted that these events offer valuable knowledge and experiences. Along with free product testers, members will receive one collared shirt, described by Andika as unique and rare in Malaysia, adding an exclusive touch to the club’s offerings.

However, netizens have reacted with scepticism and amusement. Many joked that the rare collared shirt might actually be available on platforms like Shopee. Others speculated that the Old Money Club could be a multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme designed to benefit Andika’s business interests. Some commenters even made fun of his friend Akmal, the new member of the club, and even likened Andika and his team’s portrayal of the Old Money lifestyle to cosplay, further fuelling online criticism.
While Andika’s intentions of helping others achieve financial success seem commendable, many remain unconvinced about the club’s legitimacy. Is this lifetime membership a genuine pathway to entrepreneurial success, or just another cleverly disguised MLM scheme?
