Netflix’s “Wednesday” series, starring Jenna Ortega, has proven to be a huge success since its release in 2022. The series, with Tim Burton serving as Executive Producer, grew in popularity even more when the iconic character’s dance scene went viral, edited with a TikTok remix of Lady Gaga’s song “Bloody Mary”. It has now come full circle, with reports confirming that the Oscar-winning artist will make an appearance in the upcoming season of the popular series.
So far, there has been no information on what kind of character the pop star will play, but given her numerous acting awards and Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, there’s no doubt she will pull it off. Here are the confirmed actors and actresses set to guest star in “Wednesday” so far:
Lady Gaga

According to several reports, Lady Gaga is the latest star on the list of celebrities set to appear in the second season of the Netflix series. After starring in the “American Horror Stories” anthology, the Oscar-nominated “A Star Is Born”, and her latest project “Joker: Folie à Deux”, fans are looking forward to seeing what the actress will bring to the table.
Steve Buscemi

According to Variety, the legendary Steve Buscemi has joined the cast of “Wednesday” as Barry Dort, the new headmaster of Nevermore Academy. It is currently unclear how significant his role will be in the upcoming season.
Billie Piper

UK actress and former singer Billie Piper is confirmed to play a supporting role in “Wednesday” season 2 as Capri. At the moment, not much is known about her character just yet.
Christopher Lloyd

Fans were overjoyed when it was announced that “Back to the Future” star Christopher Llyod will be guest starring on the show. The actor previously played Uncle Fester in the 1991 “The Addams Family” film and its sequel “Addams Family Value” in 1993.
Frances O’Connor

Australian actress Frances O’Connor is no stranger to the horror genre as she previously played Peggy Hodgson in “The Conjuring 2”. The 57-year-old has been nominated for and won multiple prestigious acting awards including the Golden Globes (nominations) and the AACTA Awards (won).
Haley Joel Osment

Haley Joel Osment has done mostly voice-over work over the years and rarely ever appears in any blockbuster hits. In other words, the former child star has been keeping a relatively low profile despite still being active in the industry. The 36-year-old is set to guest star on “Wednesday” so perhaps this might be his ticket to regain his glory days.
Other actors confirmed to guest star on “Wednesday” include Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Heather Matarazzo and Joonas Suotamo. Will there be more cameo appearances in the highly-anticipated upcoming season? Guess we’ll have to wait and find out when it’s released next year in 2025.
