Earlier this week, actress and singer Janna Nick posted a video on her social media platforms to call out a netizen for an extremely rude comment. In the video, she read out the comment, which claimed that her husband, actor Dini Schatzmann, was to blame for her struggles with getting pregnant, alleging that he has more female hormones than male. The remark was likely intended to insult the actor, who is known for his gentle nature.
Angered by the comment, the actress defended her husband, stating that they had tried everything they could think of in order to have a child. “Whenever people asked me about when we’re going to have a baby, I don’t know what to answer as I’ve been asking the same thing. I asked Allah, When will it be our turn to be parents? We’ve been trying to conceive through IVF for months but still to no avail,” she explained. After witnessing her emotional breakdown, several of Janna’s celebrity friends—particularly those who are mothers—reached out to offer words of comfort.
Nabila Razali

In her heartbreaking post, Janna revealed that she had asked her friend, singer Nabila Razali—who is currently pregnant—to step on her toe, as it is an old superstitious belief that an expecting woman can bless the next person to conceive. The songstress commented on the post saying that she should not give up trying and trust in Allah that He would bless her with a child one day.
Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim

Popular TV personality and actress Sarimah Ibrahim shared her experience of having children at a later age. “Baby girl, only God knows when will be the right time for us to have kids. You’re unique and your journey to motherhood is your own. Never give up. I was 41 years old when I had my daughter Sofia and honestly thought it would never happen. Be patient and prioritise yourself,” she commented.
Aprena Manrose

While she’s not a mother herself, actress Aprena Manrose could relate to Janna’s struggles. She took to her Instagram Story to defend her friend against the unwanted comments hurled at her and her husband. “I truly hate these so-called ‘know-it-alls’. I understand exactly how Janna feels cause I’ve been dealing with the same thing for 8 years. It’s truly hurtful. You don’t think we’ve tried? You don’t think we want a child? That’s all up to God so please stop asking,” she wrote.
Janna Nick and Dini Schatzmann are truly blessed to have supportive friends who are there for them in their time of need. May the two be blessed with a baby one day – and who knows? Maybe the child might be born a Libra.
